How to Choose Your Capri Activity
Four steps to landing on the real Capri — not a mainland bus tour with a Capri label.
Pick Your Experience Type
Boat cruise around the island, full-day Capri + Anacapri + Blue Grotto, private small-group yacht, or a guided walking tour. Each suits a different day.
Choose Your Departure Port
Most Capri activities leave from Naples or Sorrento. Sorrento is closer (30–45 min ferry); Naples has more departures. Pick what matches your base.
Check the Itinerary
Confirm the tour actually visits Capri — some 'Amalfi Coast' or 'Pompeii' tours are sold alongside Capri in search results but never reach the island. These options all land on Capri.
Book & Receive Confirmation
Free cancellation on most tours. Confirmation email arrives in minutes with pickup time, meeting point, and what to bring for the boat.

"I was so so impressed with this company. I ended up being the only one on the early morning boat. They could have easily asked me to join another tour at a different time but they honoured their commitment and I had a private charter with Matteo as my captain. I was treated with kindness and respect by all the staff. It was the best day of my life. I felt like a queen sitting on the deck. Nothing was too much trouble for Matteo. He told me about the sights and the history. I was offered water, towels and snacks. Thank you so much for the experience of a lifetime. Perfezione!"

"🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Unforgettable Experience in Capri with Mario 🇮🇹🇵🇷 We are from Puerto Rico and had a truly wonderful experience in Capri thanks to our host, Mario. From the very beginning, he made us feel welcome kind, attentive, and very professional. The private boat tour was absolutely spectacular: the views, the grottos, the crystal clear water, and each stop made the day perfect. Mario shared interesting facts about the island, took beautiful photos of us, and made sure we enjoyed every moment with ease and joy. His positive energy and Italian hospitality made this experience so much more than just a boat ride it was a memory we will cherish forever. Thank you, Mario, for your dedication and for making Capri stay in our hearts! — With love from Puerto Rico 💙🇮🇹🇵🇷"
"We loved this. After a lot of comparing reviews and prices I’m happy I chose this one. This was one of our favorite parts of Capri. The swim was the best!!"

"We had a boat trip with Mateo, and he was super friendly with the best vibes. We really enjoyed the tour. There were only four of us on board, so it felt very comfortable and relaxed. The only thing I’d suggest to make it even better would be offering some drinks like a beer or an aperitivo on board."

"We had a great time! our captain Roberto was very nice person . We had good vibes with our small group during the cruise. we had also some time for swimming. We can highly reccommend"

"Super fun activity! One of the highlights of my trip"
"This was absolutely great and we had 30mins of swimming in the sea! Best vacation ever!"
"The staff was very gentle and punctual! The captain of the boat was very friendly and funny! The tour went well, pause for swimming! We tasted a very delicious limoncello liquor on board! I recommend!"
"The time we got to take a swim and see some of the caves"

"This was the best activity I could have thought of! The boat was new and spacious for our group of 10 and our guide Claudio truly made it extraordinary, engaging a safe from being a very funny knowledgeable guy and foremost outstanding captain! (Should have seen some of the maneuvers he did as with his eyes closed ) 🧑✈️ Total 10 out of 10 !"

"touring the scenic view and swimming. it would be nicer if we stay a little bit longer. I'm enjoying the ocean. Overall was great."
"I highly recommend this boat tour if you’re in capri!! Our captain was awesome, the views were amazing but the reason I picked this one over the others was the swimming stop. Getting to stop and swim off the boat was incredible !! Don’t miss out !!"
"The boat tour was wonderful. Roberto was a great skipper, very pleasant and helpful. He took us into all the various grottoes and inlets before the Fraglioni rocks, which was lovely, but personally I would have preferred more time for swimming. The tour began about 20 minutes late but the time was not made up at the end. I do believe that if you pay for 2 hours, you should get your 2 hours (especially with a 2 hour tour because it is the shortest tour and passes so quickly). It's such a a great experience though and a beautiful memory I'll have forever."
"The entire trip was wonderful. Having the opportunity to stop and swim was well worth both going to the blue grotto. Highly recommend this trip."

Beyond boat tours: hiking (coastal trails, Marina Grande to Faraglioni), luxury yacht experiences, snorkeling, food tours, wine tastings, cultural visits to Anacapri, Pompeii day trips, and Vesuvius climbing from nearby Naples.
Yes. The most famous is the 'Faraglioni loop' (1.5 hours, moderate difficulty). Other hikes include Marina Grande to Punta Campanella (2.5 hours) and hillside trails in Anacapri. Wear good shoes and bring water.
Yes, but it's a long day (10+ hours). You'd take the ferry to Naples, train or bus to Pompeii (1 hour), explore (2–3 hours), then return. Most travelers prefer a separate Pompeii day or skip it.
If you have the budget (€600–1,500/day), yes. Private yachts offer flexibility, smaller groups, champagne service, and access to exclusive spots. Worth it for special occasions or groups splitting costs.
Technically yes, but it's not recommended. Underwater hazards, strong currents near rocks, and boat traffic make it risky. Organized snorkeling tours include safety equipment and guide expertise.
Limoncello tasting in Anacapri (free samples, €8 shots), waterside lunch at Marina Piccola, and local pasta (handmade trofie al limone). Food tours provide context and curated tastings (~€60–80).
Not directly — Vesuvius is near Naples. You'd need a Pompeii/Vesuvius day trip from Capri (6–8 hours total). Most people do this as a separate trip from Naples, not Capri.
Yes, high-end boutiques in Capri Town's Piazza. Local crafts: leather sandals, limoncello, handmade ceramics, linen clothing. Prices are premium. Anacapri has cheaper options.
Absolutely. You can enjoy boat tours (stay on deck), hiking, Anacapri villages, restaurants, and shopping without swimming. Plenty to do for non-swimmers or cautious swimmers.
April–May and September–October: warm, fewer crowds, stable weather. July–August: crowded and hot. November–March: fewer tours, rougher seas, unpredictable weather but fewer tourists.
